Generally patients with chronic Lyme and associated diseases are referred to us by the providers of the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Treatment Centers.**


Dr. Tietelbaum, the medical director historically has not trained his providers to treat chronic Lyme Disease aggressively.**

Prescriptive Treatments

Full range of prescriptions.

ND prescribing is extensive within Washington state scope of practice but limited for pain medications and stimulants. MD on site prescribes pain medicines and stimulants when needed.

Limited at the Seattle location.

There is not an MD on site. NDs cannot prescribe restricted medicines like narcotics for pain and stimulants when they are needed.

Stability and Experience


No major changes of providers or operation model since the clinic was established in 2000. The clinic has focused on fatiguing illnesses since 2001.

Unstable. Limited continuity of care.

Multiple providers that have come and gone since the clinic was first established in the greater Seattle area. Three different clinic operation and ownership models have been tried and two have now failed.

** In our practice, testing shows nearly 30% of patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia have chronic Lyme Disease as a cause.
